Cutting Mat
Using a cutting mat in Gunpla building provides protection to the work surface and tip of your hobby knife. It also helps keep your workspace organized and facilitates easy cleanup.​
Cutting and Nipper Tool
These are your go-to tools for removing parts from the sprues. A good pair of side cutters ensures clean cuts without damaging the plastic.
Hobby Knife or X-Acto Knife
Perfect for cleaning up nub marks, trimming excess plastic, and making precise cuts. A sharp blade is essential.
Tweezers
Precise application of stickers and small parts becomes easier with tweezers. They’re especially handy for delicate work.
Sandpaper and Sanding Sticks
Use different grits of sandpaper (from coarse to fine) to smooth rough edges, polish surfaces, and prepare parts for painting.
Glue
Although, building Gunpla does not require glue. But having it around can help with sealing seamlines and repair broken parts.
Panel Liners
Panel Line Accent Color is an excellent choice for enhancing the realism of your Gunpla.
Gundam Markers
Gundam Markers are specialized markers allow you to add color and fine details to your Gunpla. They come in various colors and tip sizes.
Brushes, Paints and Thinners
A set of acrylic paints and brushes lets you add unique colors and weathering effects. A thinner is also recommended for easy clean up of mistakes and paint diluting.
Clear Coat
The clear coat is the final touch on your Gunpla. It helps protect the paint, panel lining and decals on your model and comes in a variety of finishes, including matte, semi-gloss and gloss.
